This one is dedicated to the kid within us all. We may all seem serious and poised on the surface while attending a meeting but deep down, we sometimes wonder what’s been packed for lunch today. Yep, that again is a thing we started doing as kids. Zoning out in the middle of school and thinking about what food has mumma made today, hoping it’s your favorite. Personally, we feel it is necessary to keep the kid within us alive, only then it is possible to achieve your desired goals. You know they say “Be crazy enough to chase after what you want” Well,, you just gotta allow yourself to be a kid every now and then. Allow yourself to be curious and stupid like you once were, it’s freeing. It’s scientifically proven that being childlike helps us to be more creative, more imaginative, more innovative and open to worlds of possibilities. It’s of great help to view the world through a different set of eyes and mind.
And that’s exactly what we provide at OurDesk, a coworking space in Mumbai. We make sure our members walk a balanced line of being professional all of the time with an impromptu series of senseless jokes here and there. Not all these jokes will make you shudder with laughter but some of them will impact your way of thinking. One can be as flexible as they need at our flexi desk, just as long as it’s harmless. We encourage our members to let loose when times are stressful and do what it takes to outdo the pent-up stress. Even if it’s tomfoolery at its best. If being silly every once a while is good for your all-around health, why not?
