With great festivals comes great joy and Diwali is the most joyous of them all. This can be explained well with an example of a diya. When you light a diya, it consists of a cotton wick that’s been poured in oil/ghee within a small pot-like structure made of clay or mud. The oil keeps the flame going for a long time but when it burns out, you can always light it up again with the flame of another diya.
