Embracing the Festive Spirit
Finally, the time of year arrives with the melodious chiming of bells, the sweet aroma of homemade coconut delicacies, and the brilliantly lit streets, all harmoniously hinting at the arrival of Christmas. Celebrated worldwide for the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, this festival blankets the world in vivid joy and instils hope in the hearts of all mankind.
A Festive Affair at OurDesk
On the 22nd of December 2023, OurDesk in Khar, Mumbai, hosted a heart-warming Christmas celebration for its coworking members. The cosy gathering in our pantry spanned over three delightful hours, a culmination of meticulous preparation that unfolded over two days and nights.
If you've ever visited OurDesk, you'll know there's a beautiful glass wall that divides Zone 1 and Zone 2 of our coworking space. Our in-house team whole heartedly showed remarkable enthusiasm for decorating a Christmas tree on that very glass wall.
This way coworking members of OurDesk working from either of the two zones will be able to witness the equally magnificent tree put up for them and this festive season. Not only this, to add a quirky detail to the main board of OurDesk; a santa cap was put up on the left side of it.
Uniting in Joy and Community
The event became a platform for our members to forge deeper connections. Secret Santa gifts were exchanged, igniting laughter and joy among our elegantly dressed attendees. Notably, the employees of Atlys, one of our newest members, extended gifts to our in-house team, embodying the essence of belonging and community, which is a key objective at OurDesk.
As introductions were made and bonds rekindled, the pantry filled with laughter and joy, complemented by an array of mini cupcakes in enticing flavors like coffee, chocolate, lemon, rose, bubble-gum, and red velvet. To accompany these treats, steaming cups of hot chocolate and an assortment of chocolates like Reece's, Bounty, and Snickers added to the festive cheer, initiating delightful conversations among our members.
Here's a secret we found out, hot chocolates are great conversation starters. And that's perfect for a coworking space like OurDesk to develop a sense of belonging for its members.
