The history of OurDesk in Khar, Mumbai, goes way beyond the 90s. Initially started off as a trust by Mataji Rampiyari Bai, it focused on providing for helpless women and children. Their aim was to not only help those in need but make them independent enough to stand on their feet. It was to make sure small children receive education and their fees are taken care of. Fast forwarding to today, we give back to the community by the coworking space of OurDesk. It’s killing two birds with one stone, it’s building community and using those funds to give back to the community.
